-Introduction to the Guitar
Students will be exploring the different features of the instrument and understand how to take care of their own guitar. They are also given the opportunity to learn tuning in depth so that they can maintain the guitar in tuned condition.
- Basic Music Theory and Application
Students will be learning the foundations of music theory by learning the theory on the fret board. They will also explore different notes as they practice children songs. They are given the opportunity to perform in front of each other just like a Guitar Hero.
-Rhythm Practical
Students will be learning the rhythm notation written in the music scores and how to interpret the music charts. Using the metronome in class, students are able to learn the rhythm while playing the notes learnt earlier in Basic Music Theory.

Students will be applying the rhythm into use when they learn both fast and slow songs. They will be learning different chord families and different strumming patterns in popular children’s songs and pop.
-Music Scales
Students will discover the note progressions on the fret board in this module. By learning that, they will also understand the theory behind each chord formation with the bass notes in play. They are also given a chance to create an unique melody in each song that they have learnt.
